FAQ's
Where are you guys based?
Privately held US Corporation, based in Newark, California.
Where do you get the cells?
Two routes:
- We purchase cells from 3rd parties, expand them and modify in some cases.
- We are also developing our iPSC/cell lines.
How big is a neuron?
It depends on the kind of neuron some can be several meters long and others a few microns. Ours are roughly 200 – 300 microns in size.
Humans make mistakes, don't neurons make mistakes?
Think of a new paradigm! Not the same answer every time, but a useful answer every time.
How many transistors does it take to match a neuron?
A single neuron is actually more similar to a single computer than it is to a single transistor.
